ok, i just posted another (longish) thread about my housing situation, i'm basically gathering ammo for the impending fight. i think my landlord may be intercepting my post (i dont know why) and then not passing it on.

since i moved in. i have had problems receiving my post. i have most of my stuff sent to school but the one major one is my mobile phone bill. i have finally changed it so its sent to my school.

this is entirely in my name. in the 8 months i've lived here, i have only recieved it twice. both times after the payment date has passed. its not a major issue. it just goes out of my bank instead. but of course, i dont have the statement.

the building is first floor and has a gate to get into the 2 separate apartments. there is a post box outside, and one time i did get a parcel in that box. every other time anything has come, it's been put on my door which only myself, the neighbor and the landlord have access too.

i dont think he is stealing as some part of a plot against me, i just think he has some arrangement whereby the post office deliver it to his realty agent shop, which is next door or his own house, which is behind mine. and then forgetting/being to lazy to drop it round. i suspect this as he is always very late in giving the gas and electric bill to me (putting it on the door) and often forgets letting my bills total up. so this is why i suspect that he intercepts it somehow. again i dont think its malicious.

however, the phone bill is addressed to me, at the address i live at and as far as i'm aware/feel. nobody has the right to take it but me. the landlord is a USA citizen (and korean citizen i believe) and works on base. i believe in the USA taking somebodies mail unauthorized and then not passing it on is quite a serious thing. it is in my country anyhow.

so, what should i do. i'd quite like to catch him out and use it as ammo to get out of my contract a few months early. read my other post for the details there if you wish. do i have much legal standing to go on?

cheers in advance
