So a friend from Australia is coming to visit next month and asked me if I wanted any goodies.

The thing is, I don't know what kind of goodies I should ask for. Never been to Australia.

Are there any snacks, meds, clothes, anything! that those of you in the know can suggest?

Vegemite suggestions will be ignored. thanks! Smile

Tim Tams! In every flavour!

They are the best, imo, if you put them in the fridge first.

I'd definitely second Violet Crumble: best choc honeycomb ever! Plus, my American friend loves Boost Bars.

Ibuprofen and codeine is indeed over the counter in Oz, as is Paracetamol (acetaminophen) and codeine. I always bring a 100 pack when I come back from Australia (I give away a lot- I'm not addicted to codeine!).

Violet Crumble. Definitely. Caramello Koalas are awesome as well.

My teachers adored my mum's package of Honey Roasted Macadamias. I would definitely recommend those.

and yes, you can get Tim Tams at Costco or at Namdaemun.

Tacos....(that's my current obsession).

^ I went to the Cadbury factory in Hobart. They sold factory reject chocolate by the kilo. And it tasted normal. It was just crooked and stuff.
