How expensive is dental care in Korea relative to prices in the US? I'm thinking about getting invisalign to correct a minor overbite. I'm assuming it'll be a little cheaper in Gyeongido so I'm willing to travel to places like Bucheon, Anyang, Ilsan, etc. if it'll mean a significantly cheaper bill.

Korea is cheaper....but if you want to save A LOT (like almost 50%) get it done in Thailand.

I think Invisalign is only $5K there!

invisalign here is only W5.000.000 - and i had some screwed up teeth. they also quoted me less time to finish than in america. (10 months) the 5mil includes all visits (sometimes 3 or 4 a month), follow-ups, extra trays, screwing up your plan months out of the way, and additional costs. my dentist is extremely good and the place is reputable (i've met quite a few foreign embassy workers in the lobby).

OP, PM for detail if you're interested and in the seoul area.

*edit: oops, didn't see the overbite part. invisalign can't fix an overbite in the majority of cases (i have one and chose not to fix it based on the consulation). if they go for it with the trays, they have to add attachments, which means you're better off getting ceramic braces anyway (which are REALLY cheap here, and match your teeth color.)

Don't you think it would be better to actually state your grievance? Second thread here I've seen you do this.
