OK... got the one I wanted last week, but now I need another!

Looking for a 125 cruiser-style bike.... Hyosung prefered.

Not worried if it has no papers so long as there is a plate.

www.passo.co.kr
www.bobaedream.co.kr

I'm sure you will find what you are looking for there. Or head over to Tegero Oh(5)-ga in Seoul.

It's not a cruiser like you are loooking for, but is a comfy touring type stretch (like my old Suzuki Katana).

Thanks for the links, but I cant read Korean that well yet.

The Daelim info from Byrd is nice.. but a sport bike is too agressive a stance for me... I tend to ride for 4-7 hours stretches in a day and need to lean back and relax... besides, dont need the hassel with a bored cop.

Anything down around Gwangju would be nice.... and I want a bike with a plate on it.

Yes, something like that....

The reason I prefer Hyosungs or similar is seat height. Got these stubby legs of mine and climbing onto some of these jacked up bikes makes it a pain at stop lights. I'd like to keep my *beep* for a few more years... have plans for them.....LOL.

Definitely get a bike, or at least a moped.

You can go broke or die of frustration using busses or taxis. The island has too many places outside the main cities to visit.

Riding a motorcycle in Korea is a wonderful way to get around and see things too.

Your life expectancy largely depends on how you ride.

An overly aggressive rider or an overly timid one are each on a fast track to roadkill. But an alert and skillful rider can stay upright and enjoy the road ahead for a long, long time.

Over the years here in Korea, I've had 3 bikes, 5 scooters, and 6 cars, and I still love to ride. I do it anytime I can and recommend it to anyone who's got a serious interest!

Happy motoring!
