Due to the tensions with NK? Or will they get more expensive? Should I buy my ticket now or later?

Having flown to SK quite often for the past 2 years, I have seen flight prices increasing.
However that may be because I fly from the UK and we have so much tax to pay when flying here...

And I don't fly direct with KAL or OZ as they are just too expensive.

But I don't believe they will rise due to tensions with NK.

LOL, Prices are going up. Airlines / travel agencies will use the NK situation to raise prices.

So they are going to make even less people want to come here...

Yeah that makes economic sense.

I checked the flights hoping that I could find a good deal for a quick visit due to the NK situation. The prices are pretty high and are that way until the end of summer. Sad

Once all the lower priced seats are sold, the price rises.
I found with Emirates to the UK, the best time to book is 3-4 months before the date of travel.
A few years ago, left it to the last 2 months and one day seats were 1.2m, but the next day they shot up to 2m- Could hardly believe it.
Ended up going a different route for 1.5m, but had to make 2 extra overnight stays.

School vacation dates are usually pretty hectic times for travelling: These flights sell pretty quickly. There will always be some expensive seats left and cancellations.

Will it really effect it?

Lots of people on these flights tend to be going to Korea as a necessity. Usually, they're Korean (not going to give up on the homeland), soldiers, English teachers etc.

Dam the costs, the potential for SCUDs is what concerns me.
