Yesterday totally sucked until about 1.50. My morning classes sucked. I got to my second school and someone had stolen my slippers. My desk was piled with crap as usual (it seems to be OK to discard unwanted photo copying and general detritus on my desk). I was about ready to throw myself from the fourth floor when my co-teach came to me and said "Do you know we have no school tomorrow?" I didn't know it was my school's birthday today. Waaaaahooooooo!
To make it even better, my other co-teachers didn't show up to my afternoon classes, so we had two constructive lessons without any asinine asides (in Korean) about me, which I am not privy to the contents of.
Anyways....waaahhhhoooooooo! I'm off to get a Quiznoes sub. |

| I'm happy today because a student from my old school wrote me a (really sweet) letter and mailed it to me at my new school, despite me never telling my old students what school I was switching to. |

Maybe this thread should be changed to what NYC Gal has eaten recently.
You are literally the only person keeping this dumb thread going.
Well done. |

1. Look up the word literal. Clearly I'm not the only one, or your quote wouldn't have included another poster.
2. I'm on vacation in the culinary capital of the world. Of course I'm excited. When was the last time you had a nice unpasteurized cheese? I'm a foodie.
3. It's MY thread. In the first post I stated that I was happy to be heading home to see friends, family, and enjoy the delicious food that NYC has to offer.
4. Now lose the cryabetes and go eat your ramen with your NO friends. |

I hardly exaggerate. I may be a liberal yuppie stereotype, but it's who I am. I don't pretend to be otherwise.
If you're not interested in what makes people happy, get off my thread. Leaving is simple, like you. |

Wrong
She's interesting already, Geoff, and that was even before she referenced cryabetes.
I won't comment on you being interesting or not, just that you have violated the Terms of Service in this thread, and that's kind of interesting, so by definition, you are interesting too; congratulations.
Have a nice day! |

I found a bunch of fossils with my mom's paleontology group today. There's a great spot in St. Clair in Pennsylvania where we felt bad walking, because we crushed many great specimens, that's how plentiful they were. Someone needs to invent cheap hover technology for our hand trucks!
We're back in NYC now and cleaning them off with little brushes and bread knives. I've got loads of fern imprints and a few broader leaves that I'll have to look up online. WAHOO! |
