Hi,
My name is James. I came to Yongin about two weeks ago to, you can probably guess, teach the English. My coworkers have been super cool and we've been hanging out quite a bit but I suspect that their lives don't revolve around entertaining the foreign teacher. Thus I'm looking to meet some people(especially expatriates) to hang out, explore Korea, and gripe with. Please respond to this or send an email to [email protected] if interested. Hope to hear from you.

Welcome to Yongin. It's a huge area, which part are you in?

I'm new to Yongin as well. I'm going to send you an e-mail as I just got here 6 days ago... I'm in the Jukjeon area.

Wow, envy. I love the Jukjeon area. There's this little street which is packed with the best europeany cafes and restaurants, all independent and with really high levels of service and food. We go down there for a weekend once every few months and hole up in a love motel and spend the weekend eating. Might not be enough to justify moving there but it would be a great bonus

I think I know the places you are talking about. Are you talking about the row of restaurants facing the backside of e-mart (side with outback)?

I don't usually post my address up on the internet, but I guess that's why they created spam filters. Anyway, if anybody would be interested in meeting up, my e-mail is <removed e-mail, pm>

Matt

Hey sorry it's been a while. I'm busy, busy, busy(kindof) and sick. I live in the Cheoin area. Do you know it? Where do you live?

If you live further south than Jukjeon / Suji, you really are out in the middle of nowhere.

I live in CheoIn-gu, which is possibly the same place.
It is a large district with Yongin itself. I live in the Gorimdong, 9km from Everland and about 5 mins drive from the Yongin IC. Jukjeon is about 25 mins away depending on time of travel.
