So I hear schools will be closed on June 2nd for elections. What else will be shut down that day? Banks?

my hagwon's taking a half-day, but it's the wrong half.. we've got to show up at noon to teach whatever stragglers come in til evening. *grumbles*

on a side note, i don't suppose foreigners are allowed to vote, are we?

F-2 no
F-5 yes if you've had it for three years.

I could be wrong on that though.

Every E-2 I've talked to has it off, at least five hagwons and a couple dozen waygook E-2s.

companies are closed too..
korean and foreign ones. or at least they are operating not fully staffed.
my company is closed.

hate the commercial and announcement trucks that drive though the streets until late at night, but i gotta say

THANK YOU KOREA FOR THE ELECTIONS!!!
