Sorry guys, the proverbial how can I get on Canadian police record check on-line?
Believe me I tried searching for info on the net but nothing very clear really. As you now the hiring period is upon us again so I am anxious to get the ball rolling.
Thanks so much for your patience with me asking this question yet again. |

Are you in Canada or SK right now? DON'T do it through the OPP. I applied to get mine done in late March and I still don't have it. I went through the Commissaries Office (branch of the RCMP). They do digital fingerprinting and get you your results back in just over a week. I don't know of any way to do the checks online either. |

I ordered one from https://www.truecheck.ca/ for about $20 last summer. You might check with immigration to see if it's acceptable. Their answer seemed to change day by day for me, but the visa went through fine.
There's a thread about this on the Jobs forum. Again, the Truecheck may not be acceptable, but you might ask. |

No its not that they got shut down ... it just that you now need to "be invited" by an organization to their "platform" before they can perform the check. ie, it is no longer possible to have one issued if you applying as an individual - thanks again |

Winnipeg police service can do it for you. $32 for the search. $5 each for additional copies made at the same time. Payment by C/C from abroad.
You can get it "authenticated" by way of an affidavit of authenticity at the Canadian Embassy in Seoul
It IS accepted by immigration in Korea (with the embassy affidavit). |
