As of this year these were the shows I watch without fail

24
LOST
Flashforward
Cold Case
Ghost Whisperer

CSI
Smallville

Survivor
Amazing Race

Well my first 5 have been cancelled, my second two are in their last season ( well Smallville is, I would think that CSI would be very close) And the other 2 are reality so they are sporadic in thier schedules and have a lot of dead time.

Tv for the next season is gonna suck unless I find some new shows

You have terrible taste in television.

LOST wasn't canceled, it ended.

All the other shows have been around so long, they must be spinning their wheels by now.

1) Did I claim to have great taste? No I didn't but thanks for your useless comment.

2) Did we really need to split hairs on how LOST is no longer on the air, when the obvious sentiment I was going for is that next season its NOT on the air.

3) Were you going to comment on the heart of the thread, or were you just coming on to insult the shows and my taste in them.

How about Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Pacific(just finished), Venture Bros., 30 Rock.

Try not to take it so personally. My point was that, no, my future television viewing won't take a hit, with those shows I just mentioned either still running or returning soon. Plus, I'm midway through Six Feet Under and just started News Radio. Plus I sprinkle the odd episode of Frasier in there from time to time.

I wasn't taking it personally, I am the first to admit that I have terrible taste in shows, many of them I have simply watched for years before many of the current "good" shows came on, I simply don't have the time to watch like 25-30 shows though.

I also enjoyed Quantum Leap, Sliders ( before it went to hell) Dead Like me, Boston Legal, currently liking the old SG1's (I am a sci fi guy) I am also into the old Twilight Zones and Outer Limits at the moment, although these are rare lately, and I am currently rewatching all 5 seasons of Highway to Heaven.

TV viewing is still going strong for me.

Currently watching:
- Top Chef Masters
- No Reservations with Tony B
- Curb Your Enthusiasm (waiting for the new season)
- Breaking Bad
- Avatar: The Last Airbender (never had cable when this was on)
- Venture Bros.
- UFC, TUF, StrikeForce, WEC, Bellator, Dream, etc.
- Colbert Report/Daily Show w/ Jon
- Tonight Show w/ Jay (kinda guilty about this one...)
- PlanetES
- Dragon Ball (lol)
- Mad Men
- True Blood

Yeah... I've got the TV going whenever I'm at home.

Highway to Heaven sucks badly. Do you also watch Full House and Matlock?

Well I was like 10 years old when Full House came out so I did watch it when I was younger yes, its not like I re watch episodes now, it is a hokey show.

Matlock, My mother watched it religiously, so yes I have seen many episodes, but it was never really my thing.

As for Highway to Heaven, yeah if you can get by the cheesy acting by the extras and some of the stuff that dates the show it is an EXCELLENT show. The acting by Landon and French is awesome, their rapport with each other is fun and witty.

Anyway, I am tired of defending my choices, you don't like a show fine, You don't see me pointing a finger and laughing at anyone for the shows they happen to like.

Some people like cheesy shows, otherwise they wouldn't make them.

luckily i'm not into any of those shows. i typically watch stuff on comedy central or adult swim. you can watch most of their episodes online, too. i haven't actually watched TV in a while (tho i will watch the NBA finals these next few days, but probably at the bars)

I like all of those shows except The Pacific. It was very disappointing.

I second the nod for Treme.
