Hi everyone,
I am into nearly the end of the second year of my contract in Korea and I have decided to go home. I notified my boss about this and there are no problems with me leaving. My question is this though- do i need to get a letter of release to show immigration at the airport when i leave? Or do I just hand in my alien card when i go. Please note- I am not coming back to teach so transferring to another job isn't an issue. Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks
Graham

Since you still have time left on your visa, they'll just let you leave with your ARC. If your visa was up, you'd have to hand it in. I dont think you leaving now is any different than someone leaving for vacation and coming back. I wouldn't worry about it...

Just hand in the ARC on your way through passport control and have a great flight home.
