Hi there,

I've been offered an opportunity to interview with the Paju English Village for a september position.

Im having a hard time finding the details on working for such a place and wondered if I could get some insight.

The fact that they're open to couple applicants and that they give 20 vacation days has me thinking it could be decent, but at the same time I'm worried its going to be like working for Darion Lakes or Canada's Wonderland.....

Thoughts? Or perhaps a link to further information I'm not seeing???

Thanks

There really are a ton of threads on Paju and the English Villages, so try a search on the forum.

Have you taught in Korea before? Because if you haven't and are looking to, I wouldn't consider living and working in an English Village being in Korea.

These EVs have gotten bad some reviews by employees, visitors, and the media.

That's not to say you can't have a decent year, or that you'll get in a bad contract or something. Just seems like there are better ways to experience Korea and teach without being a complete dancing monkey in an English theme park, or being isolated in on a campus.
