I'm getting an iphone tomorrow and a have a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to:
Will the iphone I buy here in Korea work when I go back to the US? The KT guy said yes, but I'm not 100% sure he knows what he's talking about. |

He is telling you a half-lie. It will work only if you get it unlocked, or pay huge roaming charges. |

Actually, the KT guy didn't tell a lie. The question was, "Will my phone work when I go abck to the US."
The correct answer is YES. If the question were, "Will my phone work on a US carrier like AT&T" then the answer would be a half-lie. |
