ㅋㅋ "diary".
What's wrong with normal cheese? E mart carries some good, though expensive cheese. You can get a brick of monterey jack off gmarket for 17,000won.
If you think low fat anything is good for you, you are kidding yourself.
If you just like the taste. Go nuts. |

I get half fat cheese at the home plus in World Cup Stadium. It is some kind of processed stuff like American cheese slices. Brand is "de Vinch" and it says "50% fat down" on the label. They have been out on occasion.
I also get low fat swiss at the Costco in Yeungdungpo. At costco you have to buy a lot so I freeze a good bit and bring out as needed.
For info, low fat is "jaw ji bang = 저지방" and fat free is "mu ji bang= 무지방".
Sometimes they have fat free milk at that Homeplus. But that is only about 25% of the time. |

If you can get rennet tablets, powder, or liquid, use lowfat milk and you'll get cottage cheese. Lowfat or skim milk actually works better when making it. I just made my first batch and it's heavenly! |
