Is there a way to stop spam messages from coming that don't have a phone number attached to them? I get about six a day. They are mostly stock updates or just something purely in Korean. A student of mine helped me block the ones with numbers, but the ones I get now don't have a number attached.

Thanks for your help!

You can mark them as "spam" messages, however if your phone is like mine, there is a limit to how many numbers you can mark as a spam number, and eventually you will fill that limit.

Sigh...

You can go into a local branch office (not a sales shop) and request for them to run a trace. I had to do this to shake a stalker a few years ago.

Save the messages, go in and if they agree (I was threatened with violence and the manager approved the trace) they'll ask you to list times and dates the messages came in.

You'll get a print out that shows the source number and you can opt to block it. Unfortunately, a lot of the spammers sent these messages from a computer, which makes it untraceable.
