Have just been offered an interview there...would like to know something about it..any and all info is good! Thanks in advance!

SLP is Sogang Language Program as the Hakwons call it.

Many foreigners who've worked there refer to it by an entirely different acronym: Slave Labor Program.

That should tell you something. A typical SLP contract has you working more hours for less pay than an average hakwon and that's just for starters.

Granted your particular one may NOT be typical but I wouldn't bet on it.

I'll keep this brief.

READ THE CONTRACT> it is all spelled out in there.

You will work about 40 hours per week (start to finish).
You are contracted for about 20-21 classes per week (80 minutes with a 10 minute break at mid point = 90 minute classes).

Bottom line: You will work 1800 contact minutes per week for the same money as the next hakwon monkey working 1500 contact minutes; 6 HOURS more time per week standing in front of your class for the same money.

It goes downhill from there.
