I just think "Senior" ought to change his name to "Junior" - because he sounds like such a baby..
Feeeeeed me! - so babyish.
Geez.. he came all the way to live/work in Korea and he needs someone to feed him.
I guess his "girlfriend" - also has to change his diaper. |
I guess you don't get the idea of "Kids in the Hall" and humor.
You done told him real good! |

| McDonalds is good for its chicken, but I haven't had a burger there in about, oh, 10 years. I'm more of a Burger King kind of guy. BTW, has anyone had that garlic burger? Any good? |

| I am currently addicted to sushi and go sit in the places where it goes around by itself on a train set like conveyor belt. I eat at different ones so I don't look like I am doing it every night. In China you get 3 sushis for 10 rmb ( 1.50) on a little plate so eat about 6 plates. salmon ones are very good. |

It's called kaitenzushi (kaiten meaning revolving and zushi being sushi, but conjugated). When I lived in Japan, one of my fav. restaurants was Kappazushi. At 150 yen per plate (2 pieces on each plate), the quality to price ratio was unbelievably high and easily outdid most sushi places in the States. Record was 45 plates--could've kept going, but my wallet wouldn't let me.
Anyway, there is a 1k won per plate kaitenzushi place around Hongdae. If you're facing the campus' main gate, don't cross the street and simply turn right. You should immediately pass Bobby's Burger and the children's park. Keep going and it should be on your right. It was pretty mediocre, but for 1k won per plate, I didn't really care.
Now ramen is something I have a problem with. I haven't had a good bowl of ramen since I left Japan. And I've supposedly been to ALL the best places in Cali and Seoul. I lined up at that one ramenya in Hongdae (the "best" one) and it turned out to be a disaster. A weak, thin broth that became bland after a few noodle refills (they were given to me improperly--wet--which is why the broth, which already sucked, turned to s***). Noodles were of low quality and poorly prepared. I'm a ramen connoisseur and I need my fill! |

| I would rather eat Micky D's than lick a Korean toilet seat. |

The Mcdonalds is a block away from my home (and a short block at that!) and it tickles me how frequently I see a delivery guy in my building. I'm all "srsly?"
Any food made for delivery I can pick up myself in under 3 blocks. I'm lucky and as my dad reminded me growing up, "your legs aren't broken!" |
