Ok, so how the hell do you download a certificate so that you can set up online banking?
Everytime I go onto www.kbstar.com, and click on English, it asks me to download all these plugins for ActiveX and Adobe Flash. I know ActiveX is an IE application, so I'm using IE7 (64) on Windows 7 rather than Firefox. I keep downloading the plugins, but it doesn't seem to work!
So frustrating. GRRRR. Can anyone help? |

The KB Star website HATES my Win7 64 bit machine. Works just fine on my XP system. |

Shiiii
Maybe I'll just have it set up on my work computer (XP).
Did you actually get it to work on Windows 7 at all? |

I've not been able to get KB online banking to work on anything other than my Korean XP work machine, using IE6. |

If you must use the school computer, have a USB handy to download the "certificate", that way wherever you have the USB you may also use the internet banking.
Funny thing I've noticed is that KB has an iPhone app for banking, yet nothing for Mac OS / Windows 7 |

I am able to use the cert on my computer running Windows 7. But, I had to let IE8 run in compatibility mode, and I had to use a cert I got from KEB bank (which was a HELL of a lot easier). After that, I converted the cert to use at not only KEB's website but also KB's. Worked like a charm! Good luck! Took me about 2.5 months to figure it all out! |
