| Saw an ad about this in Groove, but there's no information about venue, time, price, etc. They give an email address but that's it. I emailed a few days ago asking for information, got nothing back. Anyone know the deal on this? |

HOLY  DJ Premier?! I'm there no matter the cost.
Wait is this one of those events where I'm not invited unless I have a Korean friend? Hopefully, it's not. This is one of the pioneers. As a kid in the Bronx I used to see Gangstarr a few times before they made it big. |

| Not if you're into Souljah boy...j/k...growing up in the Bronx during the 80s and 90s it was awesome seeing people that performed at the parks, corners, and house parties on MTV,BET, or the Box. That was big for me. |

The DJ Premier event will be held at Club Chicago (???? ????) in Apgujeong. It's right across the street from the Cine City theater.
I've never even heard of this venue. It could be amazing, but how the promoters couldn't manage to get a AAA act like Premier in a premium established venue is beyond belief. Someone really dropped the ball here. |

Heard it from the guy who booked him.
Word is none of the big clubs wanted to book him because it would draw a large number of "urban" customers. Total rubbish, but what can you do?
I've heard tix will be 30,000 advance/invitation. Don't quote me on that, though. There apparently will be no guest list, though VIPs can get a discounted admission. |

| I don't get what the appeal is of seeing a DJ without an MC...if it were Gang Starr (obviously not possible anymore) I'd be there in a heartbeat but what is the point of seeing just a DJ? What does he do, just play beats and scratch? Sounds pretty lame. |

Actually, at the least, the appeal is always that where there is a DJ there are women, but since it's an old skool hip-hop producer, there will probably be a whole lot of dudes there. I'll have to sit this one out. |
