I've got to move up a few floors due to a *beep* of a landlord who doesn't want to fill out some documents. I was told that the rental office would call me to leave my key for showing the apartment while I was at school, and refused. F that. Nobody goes into my apartment when I'm not around unless they're a friend with a key, and are feeding my pets or waiting for me to get home from work.

So the arrangement is that I'm home 12-5pm this weekend, and 5-10pm Mon-Fri of this week (I move next weekend.)

JOY!

I'm downloading movies and have 5 minutes to go for the day...

That sucks. I'd still go out and around the neighborhood if no one was coming in, though. Tell 'em to call me, I'll be within 10 minutes of home. Then again, I'm pretty much a homebody. Why the hell they can't just ask for 2 hours notice a few times is beyond me.

I thought I'd be home all weekend packing, but I surprised myself and got a lot done on Thursday, and can finish the rest during the week. I did pop out for an hour earlier to get a pedicure, but it was in my building Embarassed

I'm resting now so that I can stay up for tonight's USA/England game.

i feel for you. i am in a similar situation where my landlord is trying to sell the apartment my school has me in. he wants to make a copy of my key so he can 'come over and let himself in whenever he wants' is what i was told. this way he can show the apartment as soon as someone cxalls him. i said no way could he do that. i dont care if its the korean way or not, i dont want him just coming in when i am showering and didnt answer the door/phone. so yesterday he came and picked me up from work to take me home to show the apt. my school also said i should stay home in case he needed to show it and i said no to that as well. they were shocked that on a saturday afternoon i wasnt going to be in my apartment.

4 more weeknights and this saturday left. F-it. I'll be packing the last of my things on Saturday and will get some reading in. I should be rested for Sunday's move and unpacking, anyway.

I've been cooking ethnic foods to make the place stink, though. Laughing
