Does anyone know if I can interview at any of the Korean Consulates for my Visa?

I live in Florida but will be traveling to NY two weeks before my departure date and would rather just go to the NY consulate to get my visa.

Otherwise I will have to pay for an additional plane ticket to Atlanta.

I heard you can mail the necessary information to the consulate. I do not have any firsthand experience with that though.

I have also heard of people doing a skype interview with the consulate.

My husband is from Arkansas and had his interview in New York. You have to make an appointment beforehand - you can find the number on the internet.

You have to go on day one for the interview, and then come back the next day to pick up all your paperwork.

Super easy, and the consulate is in a gorgeous spot - really close to Central Park! Razz

If you go to the consulate in person for an interview, do you have to dress up as you would for a job interview?

Of course ...

... and don't forget something elegant in the evening wear category and a conservative but spicy number for the swimwear competition.

for my swimwear competition, i wore a one-piece. i think it hurt me in the scoring, but hey, i'm here., so i guess it was okay...

lmao

yeah, you need to look professional. this is still a job interview, as much as it doesn't seem like it.
