Hey,
I was wondering if anyone new some good online shopping websites, for clothing (American, Canadian), that doesn't have outrageous shipping fee's.
I live in a small city with not many shopping options, and I don't quite favor the Korean fashions.
I am female, 24 if that helps.
Thanks!! |

gmarket.com
it's in Korean, but at the top is an option for the English version.
Much of it will still be in Korean, but from there Google translate is your best friend. My girlfriend and I have used it for several items since being here, including a bed, couch, french press.
Haven't bought clothes yet, but you can find different sizes. Some of them even have bigger sizes which is perfect for me. |

Victoria's Secret, though the shipping fees are not the best. Cold Water Creek has really good shipping rates, but not geared toward the mid-20's crowd. Bear in mind that you will have to pay duties on any purchases coming in where the declared value plus shipping is over 150,000 won. You could also check Etsy. |

I've used american eagle several times and have spent about $200 and not been stung with an import tax (I think it has to do with the packaging and if there is a packing slip on the outside of the parcel...they are very quick too...
I have also used victorias secret and they are expensive to ship plus I got stung with a huge import tax i think it is down to the packing slip in an envelope on the outside of the parcel and the slip mentions about the importer....
international checkout is ok...so you can buy from as many US stores as you want...walgreens etc included and they will ship to anywhere for a small fee... |

shopbop.com and revolveclothing.com have free international shipping if you spend over $100. (^-^)v
the clothes are a bit pricey... but if you take a look at the sale section, you can get some awesome deals.
try to keep purchases under 150,000won (about 130 or 140 US, i think...) otherwise you end up paying 30% tax on you imports (>.<);;; |

It does depend on who is delivering your stuff and the day....I once ordered about $400 worth of stuff and it was left at my door, no tax. I always get hit if I go over w/ Victoria's Secret. Maybe the other poster was on to something...has to do with the packing slip. |
