Price reduced to 1k won

Done. Do you want it as a bill or do you prefer coins to give the payment a little heft?

Also isn't the BFG GeForce GTX 280 OC like 2 years old? I saw a review on it and it was dated for 2008...

Yeah, it's old enough that I can't find it in stock anywhere.

Thanks for the catch on the price. I swear I thought I'd edited the post for that...

Anyway, I welcome anyone to come by and test the system out. I have some of the newest games loaded onto it (Split/Second, Splinter Cell: Conviction, I'm talking games that just came out within the past month or so) and they run on full settings perfectly. The system still prices out to way more than 1mil won--especially if you were to buy it in Korea.

And I definitely don't take any issue with any of these comments. I'm confident in how fair this price is. I've sold a 360, Wii, laptop, PSP, and DS on here and all have been happy customers with the product and the price. I'm sure that will hold true for this transaction as well. Bring on the criticism if you wish, but the price is not going down any further.

The price seems pretty fair to me........

Intel Core i7-920 2.66Ghz 8M LGA1366 CPU
Intel DX58SO Socket LGA1366 Motherboard
Corsair TX750W 750W Power Supply
Corsair Dominator 3072MB PC15000 DDR3 1866MHz
BFG GeForce GTX 280 OC 1GB PCIe w/Dual Link DVI
Seagate 1.5TB Serial ATA HD 7200/32MB/SATA-3G
Western Digital Raptor 10,000RPM 160Gig Harddrive

This is all high-quality kit.....get a gaming PC made in Yongsan and you won't see any of these brand names in there.

Corsair PSU and RAM are very desirable.......maybe the best in the business.

That's an X58 motherboard (so it can do triple-channel memory)....those aren't cheap.

An i7 CPU.....very nice........WD Raptor HDD......*drool*...........

Definitely a gamers PC and the quality parts make it very overclockable........

True, the GTX280 is not current generation.....but it still has a lot of grunt and will play all the current games at highest or near highest settings (depending what resolution your're using).

Just curious... Seoul is kind of a big city, so where are you located exactly? Wink

Also, any possibility to sell the computer with the monitor?

Well i'd have to definitely throw in a new card in there. That's another 300K. Then a nice gaming monitor, another 300K. So now i'm looking at 1.6Mil used and gone through two people now. Could go to the electronics mart and have them build this brand new from scratch.

I'd like to see you try to get the same rig from Yongsan (with the same quality parts--not some random generic ones) for close to 1mil--I really would. I'm not really sure what problem you have with my sale, but how much damage and wear and tear could I have put onto a computer in a few months given that 99% of the time, I use another rig. It's pretty much been sitting around after I beat Batman AA and Splinter Cell.

I already knocked off 100k won; and as I have mentioned several times, there's an additional hard drive in there as well as the Windows 7 upgrade. I don't know, maybe you're interested in the system but want me to drop it another few hundred thousand won--not gonna happen.

cubanlord priced this computer out against current costs of all the major parts (not including the case or even the Zalman cooler)--it came out to approx. 1,519USD or 1.72 mil won (probably more considering the exchange rate today). Do you really think it'd drop below 1mil between that time and now?

As eamo pointed out earlier, the video card is still relevant to the newest games coming out. Unless you absolutely NEED anti-aliasing maxed out, you could play almost all of the newest games out there on very high to max settings (save for anti-aliasing).

And it isn't my responsibility to include a monitor. If I sold a PS3 here, am I required to sell it alongside an HDTV? Get real. This rig is what I have up for sale, nothing else at the moment (I'm still using my monitor for my old rig).

Well, gotta defend my sale, ya know? Wink Some people are just unreasonable and need to be told (multiple times, apparently)

Anyway, sorry I overlooked your post. I am located near Gimpo airport.

You couldn't, but I think he was saying 1.6 million, not 1.0.

I don't think that's anyone's point here. You bought it second hand. It's now third hand, even if it's been sitting in your car unused since you bought it. Third-hand makes it less valuable than second hand, even if it's just in people's perception, it's true.

An additional 320GB doesn't make a huge difference, when the amount of people who need 1.5TB is a small market. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Windows 7 is not a legit copy? If it is, you should post how much it cost you because it would add value. If it's not legit, then it probably takes away value, because you gotta figure CL knew what he was doing when he put XP (or whatever) on it.

Could well be the case. It's a buyers market on Dave's.

It's getting less valuable with each passing day, and probably a few buyers here know that.

But you disparaged the video card in the original post as not good enough (for your needs).

I've no idea why I'm getting involved in this. Sick in bed and have idle hands I suppose. Anyway, you'll note that the original deal sold in two days, cause it was a great deal. Yours has been up nearly ten, so you might have to take a loss on what I agree is a really good computer, but it doesn't scream 'bargain' nearly as much as when CL posted it two months ago, especially without a monitor.

So guy buy it for 1.6, then.

Like I said, go buy it for 1.6. I've already lowered the price. Fact is, the computer is still cheaper than you could get it at any store in Korea.... by far.

I'm guessing the type of person who would buy this computer would likely be in that "small market". The W7 isn't a legit copy but it certainly performs better than XP and takes better advantage of the processor.

So go buy it elsewhere. I find it impossible to believe the computer has fallen in value THAT fast. Also, this is the case with all tech.

That's because I wanted the newest stuff. Then I realized the card I wanted to put in cost about 800k won (5970). THEN I actually tried out the card and realized I didn't need anything more powerful.

You'r'e right. I don't know why you're getting involved in this. The price is fair and to uninformed buyers, my deal now sounds like s***. So thanks. Hope you get over your sickness.

1 mil won is a perfectly fair price. Not really sure why people are jumping all over me about this. For those interested in buying a rig, good luck finding the same one cheaper!

Thanks, guys. Really. Rolling Eyes

Why would you prefer to sell it here? I've got a sale going and by FAR more people have been responding to the Craigslist ad - and buying! Don't limit your sale. That's the benefit of the internets.

I'd prefer to sell here because it's convenient and safer/more legitimate. I'm familiar with most of the posters here so at least I'd kind of "know" potential buyers. Let's just say I've been burned by Craigslist back in the States before--if you want to hear my Craigslist stories, let me know :p

But yeah, Craigslist is probably where I'll be heading soon if no one picks this up. Pretty sweet deal if you're looking for a computer, I'd say. Probably put it back up for 1.1 mil there.
