They are a very popular trend here in the USA and was wondering if something like this would be a good treat or reward for students in my classes. Anyone bring them to their school??

Kids seem to be happy to get candy from their teachers.

LOL...I remember hearing about these Silly Bandz on the news and how children were fighting over them, which resulted in some parent now letting their children wear them to school.

So yes, you should bring them to school b/c nothing it more fun then seeing some Korean Kids fight over some Silly Bandz.

I brought a few packs back with me from home leave, and my students love them. I gave 1-3 out to the better students, depending on how much I like them. I'm having my mom send over a half a dozen more packs. I think the kids like them more than candy, because they wear them every day. Maybe it's because I teach elementary, though.

Im going to be teaching elementary school as well. I figured students would enjoy getting candy but I wanted to do something besides that.

Those look cool. Are they very expensive? Have you found them in Korea?

Right now I just use stickers, but I can see these going well as a once a week reward for students who achieve a certain goal (not pissing me off too bad).

You'll have all the time in the world to give out candies. The bracelets are fun and since they're popular in the states, you can tell them "famous in USA!" and they'll love them.

They're about $2.50 for a pack of 12.
