Hi I am wondering if there is a park anywhere on the East of Seoul (or anywhere in Seoul) where you can have a good old fashioned Western BBQ (big pieces of meat) on a nice hot summers day?

before ppl go on about, if you don't want Korean...... let me say I do like Korean BBQ's but I also like western BBQ's, especially where we can be outside cooking the food.

I've never seen a BBQ built into a park anywhere here, but emart sells "BBQs in a bag." They look pretty convenient and easy to carry and set up. Set one of those up along the river and enjoy the sunshine--it's NOT like California where the police will come and arrest you for having a beer and a good time in the park or on a beach!!

Dang! I would expect SoCal to be a little more forward thinking and modern cultured than that. That sounds like many other azz backwards places in America. Police will come arrest you for sitting out having a good time. Police will arrest or severely fine you for any little thing. Wussup wid dat?

I'm seeing bags of BBQ charcoal, small shoebox sized grills, and Western sauce for sale here. You could do it. There seems to be no enforced laws regarding public drinking, eating, fishing, littering, and camping. I don't think Korean police will arrest you unless you foolishly get into a heated argument with a Korean or yell out rude malicious cat calls at women walking by.

San Diego used to be once place where they allowed you to drink on the beach. Alas, Labor Day weekend 2007 people went a little crazy, the city council had enough, and put in a one year ban. A year later the citizens of San Diego were kind enough to make it permenent. So what do people do now? Go into the water and drink.

Sorry for the complete digression from the OP.
