I am currently at the airport waiting for my flight. My 6 years here have been great. Lots of ups and downs. Anyways, bye all! Any questions about living and working in Korea, just post'em up! |

Why are you leaving?
Where are you working now, and why? |

Six years, that's not a sojourn, that's a sentence.
Good luck. |

Honestly, it was great. There were the ups and downs, but it really wasn't bad. Perhaps I was fortunate, but, I did go through a lot of the same crap that others have gone through (i.e. late payments, shady bosses, etc.). I guess it's all how you look at it and how you deal with it. |

I think you just summed up about 90% of all questions asked by noobs. Perfect. |

I did! It took me about a year or two, but now I really enjoy it! In moderation of course.
Did you eat dog?
Never! I still hold true to some of my values, one of which being that I don't eat pets.
Were you ever scared of North Korea?
In the beginning, during my first year, I was. But once I saw that it was a bunch of rhetoric, i.e. a child throwing a tantrum because he wasn't getting what he wanted, then I didn't worry about it. The only thing that made me worry was the exchange rate. lol!

Korea has 4 seasons?
Was it easy to pick up Korean girls?
No need. I am married to the best woman in the world! Why go for a burger when you have steak and potatoes at home?
Did you ever find deodorant, or did you bring it from home?
ooooo, great question. I brought ALL of my deodorant from home. There seems to be a dearth of deodorant in Korea. |
Wow. I am currently over Pennsylvania at 37,000ft. with Wifi on the plane. This is cool. |
