Pipe dream. LOL. I entertained this idea with my 5th and 6th graders today and they all stood on a flat NO faster than I could say, "sparkling 5kg gold trophy." I then told them, "if most Korean people don't believe in their team, then they will probably not win it."
Korea isn't serious about embracing the sport and it's culture and spirit, but is just putting on a phony show of status and materialism. Arrogant Korea may be, but not arrogant enough to prematurely stake claim to the gold trophy. I predict they will get killed in their 2nd game this Thursday. |
