Hi everyone,
I tried the search and found a little info, but not everything I was looking for.
So it seems that the Korean version of the Wii is unable to play any discs other than Korean discs...
But my question is about softmodding. If I softmod my wii and play games using a USB hard drive, can I put American games on it? or does it still have to be the Korean version?
Ive also read on the internet that some Korean Wii's cant be softmodded. Is this BS or true?
Any ballpark prices for just a Wii system at Yongsan? if you also have prices that comes with an external preloaded with games, that would be fantastic!
thanks! |

With a softmod,
A) Yes, you can play foreign games with a USB drive just not a disc.
B) Korean Wiis are harder to mod supposedly. Had the fine people in Yongsan do it for me.
C) Another poster said they are now selling preloaded hard drives. Don't know what the games are, etc but they might chime in here with some more information.
Wii will be the same as big stores - E-Mart, maybe a 10,000W cheaper. Softmod will depends on the place you go (mine was 30,000W, I believe). |
