I just got internet in my apartment recently.
It was down today so my wife had to call the service provider. They thought it was a moron with a computer problem I guess, and didn't seem too keen to fix it before tomorrow. I got my wife to call and rant about my needing it for work and threatening to cancel. They got there by the evening. It was their fault with faulty wiring downstairs in the building.
It pisses me off because I think I should get a discount- it wasn't a moronic computer problem on my part. Combine this with the Korean lack of willingness to do something unless they have to (generalization yet somewhat true), and I'm a bit more annoyed. |

| My my modem went down, Kangnam Cable came and replaced it on a Sunday. The guy was very nice. |

Did you have to pay for that service call or something? They should have fixed the problem for free. |

I think I should get a deduction from my monthly fee. I think in a service industry lack of service is a serious problem. I get milk delivered daily, but if they miss a day I don't pay. Well, I missed a day of computing, and my wallet is not a charity.
However, I found out the guy is a small operator, and he did actually fix it as quickly as possible, so I am not going to push the issue. |
