With just over two months to go before the September 2010 English teachers are supposed to arrive in Korea, Chungnam Office of Education has not yet started the interview process.
I have been in contact with Korean Horizons - a Korean based recruiter - but have been told that due to local government elections interviews are late. Also, the SEPIC coordinator's FB page is too quiet for comfort.
Has anyone else been told this? Or given any other reason for the delay of the SEPIC Chungnam interviews?
Maybe interviews have started already! I would appreciate any kind of confirmation. Please let me know if you have any information.
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks. Am looking forward to live and work in Chungnam. Seriously hoping for a Chungnam Office of Education interview within the next two weeks. Fortunately all my paperwork is perfectly in order so just waiting for a job offer. |

Thanks, good to hear. Hope they get into gear soon. Make sure all your paperwork is complete to save yourself additional stress when the interviewer asks "So, are all your documents in order."
They should recruit approx. 60 or so teachers for the new semester from what I understand from historical trends.
Best of luck for the interview...whenever it may be! |

The only thing I have left to do is finish my tefl course, about half way through it so far. I could probably rush it and just go onto the final exam, but right now I'm doing the units and worksheets.
And thanks, good luck to you too! |
