Given that they've played eachother five times in the last 2 years I'd say that it would be a draw, just like it was 4 out of 5 games (SK won the last, I had the misfortune of seeing it live, I may well have been the only person in Seoul World Cup stadium cheering for NK).

Outside of the World Cup, SK would purposely play for a draw so NK can qualify.

I think SK would paste NK in World Cup. They'd actually play to win.

How korean is that...? Rolling Eyes
They don't want the other side to lose face.
Neither do they want to raise tensions on the peninsula. yes...the sunshine policy extends to football.

Why would anyone cheer for NK? I see no other logical reason than you probably hate your life here.

Some people always like to root for the underdog.

People love underdogs and even South Koreans will cheer for NK if not playing against them. The players just want to play well and provide for their families, they hardly care about the politics about it.

True, I do enjoy rooting for underdogs, but I also just enjoy being a jackass; I tend to never cheer for the home team at any sporting event. Why must people always jump to the conclusion that I hate my life here? If I hated life here, I'd leave and not come back. Just as any other sane person should do.
