I assume that most don't work on Saturday, since it's a contract thing. |

My school tried to push that on me...I politely declined. |

lool no way. Although they asked me to come in to do a demo class for parents on one saturday last month. It's a once a year thing and I only worked from 9am-1015am. So no big deal.
If they ask you to do one once in awhile I would consider doing it to keep a good relationship with the school, or as leverage for a more relaxed atmosphere. But every month? N*gga pleeeeeeeez |

I considered it at one point, but given that my coteacher turned into a world class b**** after a while, i decided to play the contract for all it's worth.
"It's not in the contract! A contract has to be honored! My people treat as religion!" Am from the land of Trump!" |

Once or twice a semester my town has an English festival on a Saturday. All English teachers are asked to "participate." We do get compensated for our time.
I don't mind coming in once or twice a semester for 150k for the day. But, I sure won't do it every Saturday or every other Saturday. |

My school has it's "school festival" this Saturday and they want me to come in. I have no clue what it's all about or what I have to do, but I agreed to go in. My school is great and I haven't ever come in on a Saturday, so what hell...why not. |

Exactly. You will likely have a blast. There will be free food (probably booze later on) and you will score massive brownie points. It's probably the easiest career enhancing three hours you will ever spend. |

My school once had a parent-teacher bbq on a Saturday and wanted me to come. I did, and it was pretty fun, plenty of food, booze, and karaoke, plus I got to see the Korean countryside.
Other than that, I never work on Saturdays, nor does my school give me afterschool classes on Fridays. |
