Many people think that the visa validity will start from the date they enter Vietnam, not from the date they provide, however, it is not.
There are two kinds of date: arrival date and registered date. The arrival date is the date you will come to Vietnam while registered date is the date cited on your visa. You can come later and 1-2 days sooner than the registered date.
For instance, if your registered date cited on the visa is 23rd Jan, it means you can come later than 23rd Jan and 1-2 days sooner than 23rd. Vice versus, you can leave sooner and 1-2 days later than the leaving date cited on the visa.
Yet, if you want to enter Vietnam 1-2 days earlier, you should contact your Airline first to see whether they can let you on board 1-2 days earlier or not.
The visa validity will commence from the date you provide in advance, not from the date you will enter the country. So, just make sure that you make a clear plan of when to enter before ordering a Visa to Vietnam. |
