|
|
I recently purchased a pretty nice used automatic wrist watch from abroad, and I'm very happy with it. However, I noticed that there's a tiny piece of lint that's trapped underneath the crystal. It's not a big deal, but it is an aesthetic annoyance.
So, does anyone here know of a trustworthy, and preferably English speaking watch repair service somewhere in the Seoul area? I live southwest of Seoul, so anything in that area would be preferred. |

What is the "crystal"? The glass cover over the face of the watch? If so, then you can get any watch repair person to remove the lint. They will remove the back plate, remove the winding pin, remove the main watch mechanism from the body along with the face plate. Clean off the face plate. Put it all back in.
I don't know where you can get it done, but trustworthy shouldn't be an issue because it will only take the person 2 minutes to do. You can sit there and watch the guy do it if you want. |

most watch salesmen at department stores will do it. they can change batteries, clean the crystal, make small repairs, or send it off to the manufacturer for you to get repairs as well. I had my seico battery replaced then sent off for repair several months go. nothing unreasonable with the price. |
