You remember back in the day when you went to your neighborhood music store for your piano/guitar/voice/ukelele/kazoo lesson, you'd pass by the turning rack at the front of the store and they'd have sheet music copies from Hal Leonard (or other music publishers) with big cheesy glossy photos of your favorite music stars with their latest hits rendered as some watered-down transcription that you could buy for $3.95 and take home and learn?

I want to make a kind of print like that. I know it would be relatively expensive but I'm only going to make a couple of them so it doesn't really matter.

I know well enough how to send efiles and get them printed on a normal printer. I'm not talking about that. I'm interested in getting the big color glossy slightly thicker stock paper with a crease put in it for the fold. That I think might take more than Kinko's, but I'm not sure because I'm not living in one of the big cities. But I'd be willing to taekbae the whole thing and work it through email with a Korean friend as an interpreter.

Does anyone have any clue of a shop that could do that here?

dr. print in Apkeujeong is your man; his print shop is near Hyundai Dept. Store.

ask a Korean friend to look up his number, probably he has a website. he does speak English, tho, once you get his contact info. I haven't used/talked to him in a couple of years - he did some prints for me for a photo exhibit, he does a lot of that and other commercial work. he'll negotiate a price with you so be prepared to haggle.
