After almost five years here, I'll be moving back to Ontario for Teachers College in August. I've been looking through threads for most of the afternoon for a list of everything I should do before leaving Korea but so far I haven't found much advice. I have checked my pension and will be applying for that a month in advance of leaving but I was wondering if there were any other boxes (administrative or otherwise) that I should tick before I go. For instance, should I get a statement of tax paid in Korea?
Secondly, I was thinking of getting a Korean criminal record check before I went back home just in case it's required by my teachers college program. Would I just go to any local police station here in Busan? Has anyone ever had official documents translated and notarized at City Hall? If anyone has information on this process I would be grateful!

You would get it at the GU police station not one of the local police box/offices.
Can't help you with notaries in Busan other that perhaps your own country's consulate.
