I know they showed Korea's other games there, but those were at 8:30pm, will this one be shown since it's at 3:30am? I'm sure there would be a lot of complaints from residents in the area about noise, etc.

If you know I'd appreciate a reply.

According to my coteacher there will be a gathering at COEX as per usual, so I'd assume Gwangwhamun/City Hall will have festivities as well.

Yes, they will be showing the game there. The roads will be blocked off from midnight to 6 a.m. to show the game.

I'll bet they won't have a tenth of the audience from the first two games

But those that do come out should be quite the oddball crowd. I'd definitely go if I still worked hagwon hours.

Doubt I'll make it out there, but there'll be something, surely. Will probably hit the hay a little early, get up and watch the first half and take it from there. Early work, though...

Here's what gets me. Several of the Koreans I work with, including a few moms of elementary and kindergarten-aged kids who attend our school, have already been dropping hints that they won't be into work tomorrow. I think that's BS. I'm an actual fan of the sport, will watch it, and I'll be in on time ready to work, and not inebriated. Nonsense...

This includes my co-teacher whose birthday it was today, but is taking off tomorrow (she's a very minority owner). Thanks a lot.

Start is 3:30..people would show up sometime before that, or at least get to the area before that. What time will it finish? Probably by the time it finishes or shortly there after, the subways should be running again.

I noticed at the lotte cinema website that they will be showing the game in theaters, so if you want to watch it inside on the big screen. check your local theater

I was out there last WC for the last game against the Swiss at 4am or something like that. Given, it was a Friday night, but it was pretty festive and packed. However, most 'fans' were passed out or just asleep about 15 minutes into the match. The lead up was far more fun than the actual game.
