I kept a journal for about two years here and also wrote creatively during that period. Much of what I jotted down is saved on UBS or in my e-mail mailbox. A less substantial portion of my work wasn't saved on disk or in my mailbox. This portion was kept in a royal blue plastic binder.

I left a job in the Hadae-Dong section of Jinju in January 2010. I moved to Cheongju later that month, had a job offer rescinded, and spent the last two weeks of January and entire month of February seeking work. I probably lost the binder in Jinju or Cheongju, but could very well have misplaced it while travelling via bus or on The Seoul Subway. Has anybody out there seen this folder? Does anybody have " Lost and Found " information for The Seoul Subway System , The Intercity Bus Service, and/or other advice to aid me in my search? Any assistance would be appreciated. Please PM or respond otherwise if you can help.

Thank You!

Sorry to hear that. I'm thinking some H.S. Senior or a Uni student found it and thinks they hit the jackpot of having (i assume) grammatically correct pages full of material to submit as their own.

I feel your pain. I've forgotten things on subways and on buses MANY times, but I've ALWAYS gotten my things returned. Backpacks, a camera bag, books, my boxing boots, cell phones... I've been taking punches in the head for the better (worse?) part of 18 years now, so I've got an excuse! Smile

Anyway, for one reason or another, Koreans don't take things that are laying around. And, most importantly, the lost and found on the subways (Seoul and Pusan, so far) is awesome, but you'll need a Korean to help you. Same goes for the buses.

Good luck, man. As long as someone didn't think it was worthless, it's sitting in a lost and found room.
