What's in them?

Do they work?

I've noticed some energy drinks popping up at the convenience stores recently. They taste like redbull, but does anyone know if the ingredients are the same and what's your experience?

I think you're referring to Energy Six, it tastes almost just like Red Bull but I don't seem to get quite as strong of a buzz from it as I do from RB. Still pretty good though, and some Family Mart locations sell them 2 for 1,000 won. Good deal, especially when Red Bull goes for 4,000 won at the foreigner grocery store near my apartment!

They're nothing but sugared water with some flavoring.

핫식스 Hot 6ix has acanthopanax, taurine, red gingseng and mixed amino acids listed as ingredients but no mg amounts. Their website might say if you can make sense of it http://www.hot6ix.com/

It went on sale for 300 won/can at my local Emart so I have a cupboard with a bunch of them. I find it works ok.
