I know there have been postings about this before.
Is this the right section? I'm talking about my job, maybe other stuff in general.

A friend mentioned to me recently that 'many posters on D's are very negative'. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, ya?

I just wanted to post a positive experience about my PS position
for all the newcomers or potentials. Most people with pos exp don't
spend much of their time here, because they are enjoying themselves
elsewhere. So here I am.

My PS is great. No discipline probs. Coteachers are helpful bending
head over for all my requests. Accommodating at every turn of the corner.
Schedule is fine. Do some of my classes get canceled? YESSS!!!
Should I be complaining about not working for the next hour? NOOOO!!

Timely. Good people. Good school. Etc. Etc.
I realize that others have had 'nightmares', but you should
have an understanding about what you're getting into when you
travel to another part of the world.

I'm trying to be objective. Ask questions. Do your research.

Have fun in SK. Not my ideal place, but I choose to be here. You?

Good, bad, ugly.

At first I thought you were gonna talk about the last 3 girls you went home with. Smile

OP, your post is mostly true

The squeaky wheel gets the oil- that pretty much sums up Daves
My co-teacher last year was rude. I talked about her here.
My new co-teacher is cool. Generally I don't mention him.

That's how it works.

My experience in Korea has been mostly positive. I come here to rail against things that are disagreeable, one of them being national fair-weather fans (overnight fans CAN kill) and apologists claiming that this is the land of sugar dumplings.

So what is bad and ugly about your post? Gossip at your school?
