How do those guys on TV get paid? Is it part of their hagwon contract?
What about someone who sells a book? I saw a Canadian made a Korean study book and published it here. |

Sell your body shawner...you will be raking in the dough before you know it man.
In all seriousness there are many ways to make money legally here by doing something other then teaching. That being said however, all of these options require you to make an effort and to get some other qualifications (be it learning Korean properly or some extra education).
For example I do consulting part time (quite legally) here in Korea. |

Most tv stations just pay in cash, but some will copy your bank book and send the money. If it's a one-time thing they don't bother with asking about one's visa status and so on. |

I wondered because I remember before Pusanweb.com guy going to shutdown his site because he couldn't make any money off it legally, as he is also a professor.
I suggested he treat the website as a US based site and have sponsers wire money to him in the states, then pay his helpers with paypal. That's what he's doing now.
I just wondered if there's an easier way. And what about those teachers who published a book here. You need some special visa to make money off that? |

You could make money if you turn in a North Korean spy. You could also possibly make money if you turn in another teacher who is working illegally. |

I love watching those girls dance. Now that it's getting warmer out I'm sure to see a lot more of the good stuff. Actually, I heard that they get paid good money. (well, there probably a dancing girl and a coffee girl) |

get your camera happening and take pictures of all these boneheads infringing traffic laws. forward them on to the cops and get a small reward, i say small but judging by the lack of any respect for road rules here 1 could do quite well. |

They get paid between 15 000 to 20 000 an hour. Depending on how big the business is, their company and I pressume how good looking they are.
I heard they average about 500 000 a week on good weeks so it is about the same as us.
Both of us have something in common,

We could open a 'male and foreign' room salon for rich businesswomen and for wifes of rich businessmen. Charge them stupid amounts of money to talk with us and touch our legs. Charge them huge tips and ridiculous prices for chong ha. Charge them huge amounts to sing to them.
Laughing all the way to the bank. |
