Selling my Nikon D40 DSLR camera with an 18-55mm and a 55-200mm lens. I bought it new one year ago in Korea. The camera is in top condition wth the only blemish being a slight scuff on the LCD screen. The lenses are both in mint condition. I absolutely love this camera and the experts agree with me.

If you are trying to get into photography and need a good DSLR camera to compliment or replace your point and shoot, then the D40 is an excellent choice. I have many pics of the camera and lenses so reply to this post with your email and I will send them along. Included with the camera and lenses are two batteries, shoulder strap, charger, 2GB memory card and UV filters for both lenses. I live in Busan, near Nampo-dong. Price is firm but might entertain offers.

This same combination is selling for 1,700,000 on gmarket right now.

700,000

You shouldn't hijack the thread. If someone wants to pay 250,000 more than the item is worth, it's their right.

When you bought the camera/kit, how much did you pay for it?

OP might have bought it from EMart. They still sell the D40 for new.

500,000 isn't bad. try and bring it down a little if you cam. Yes it's an 'older' camera but if you compare it to what's out there now it isn't such a bad deal.

OP,

Listen to the advice here. I bought this same camera 3 years ago for about 600,000 won with a similar set up like the zoom lens etc., and you're expecting the camera to only depreciate by 100,000 won is three years.......you've got F all chance of getting rid of it at that price.

Granted it's a good entry level SLR but it's lacking key features and also a warranty I would think so I'd drop the price by at least 150,000 and take it from there.
