The girlfriend sprained her ankle last night and can't walk.
How much will a trip to the hospital cost? She would be paying out of pocket as she doesn't have insurance.

Really all we need are some crutches. I'll happily buy someone's crutches. give me a call 010 3112 6223.

You can get crutches at any pharmacy.

probably cost you about 50k at a small hospital (with x-rays).

cost you an arm and a leg at one of the international hospitals.

Hospitals are cheap and comparable to the cost of a nice hotel. I was quoted 800 for a 6 or 7 night stay on the stomach problem floor at a leading universities hospital including specialized meals and medical attention. I actually decided not to go and just worked out getting as little treatment as I could and went home that day and eventually recovered. Total cost was like 50 bucks and they did blood tests, iv medicine and the doc even called me three times that week out of his own concern. Never would have recieved such great treatment in Canada.

I had to go to a foot specialist when I broke a bone in my foot. Luckily for me it was directley across from my Hagwon

it was incredibly cheap... two x-rays, then saw the main Dr who spoke good english. He gave me a half cast and a presecription painkillers, anti inflamatories all for 25000 Won. All of my next visits also involved two x-rays and a consultation with the Dr were all less than 20000 Won. That was in Ulsan though.

I actually didn't get crutches though.... just hobbled around for a while.

You all have insurance, though. The OP's GF isn't so lucky.

No, I did not have insurance. That's why the rates were in the hundreds of dollars.
