Well they offer 5 weeks vacation and will have you teach up to 20 hrs a week...doesn't sound much better than a public school |

I work at Woosong. 5 weeks vacation your frist year. 6 weeks starting your 2nd year. Contract is 20 hrs per week teaching plus 4 office hours. Reality is around 15 hours teaching plus office. Housing is decent.
Not a bad place to start. I am pretty happy working there. It also helps that there are 80+ foreign teachers in the English department so the staff and others are used to dealing with foreigners. Also, most of the foreign staff are pretty cool. Good work environment for now. |
