It's been established that I have to teach from the book.

Two days of class till exams on Wednesday.

Me: "What shoould I teach?"

Teacher One: "Do a regular class"

Me: "Can I have a list of expressions that will be in the exam so my students can learn something important in my speaking class?"

Teacher One: "Sure"

Me (to another teacher): "Can I have a list of expressions that will be in the exam so my students can learn something important in my speaking class?"

Teacher Two: "No, you are not teaching all the students this week. It will be unfair"

Me: "WTF????"

It's Korea, it's not supposed to make sense.

Here's a concept: the teachers, who meet with the students more than the GET, know better than the GET what the students need to focus on for the tests the same teachers developed. For some of the classes, it can be practice in listening; for other classes, it can be practice in translation to or from Korean. Different teachers=>different focus. And for those classes which do not need practice in listening to English, the GET gets a free period out of it.

Use Peer Dictation- Take one of the long reading passages. Photo-copy it and paste it on the blackboard. Then put the students into groups. Tell them they must copy the page but they can't refer to the original text. The class will be buzzing with activity in English and all you have to do is monitor the class and make sure no one is cheating. This activity is popular in Andrew Finch's "Tell Me More."

Sorry, today is the first day of exam week for me, and my brain is already rotting from doing nothing but staring at the internet- It's only monday!!! Somehow didn't read it correctly.

I meant the second teacher.

yeah, the inconsistency makes me want to bang my head up against the wall.
It's frustrating but there are options. Keep prep time down to nothing and try to have fun.
Fishhead Soup's suggestion sounds like a great no-prep activity.
