Frozen blueberries, the juice of half a lemon, and the liquid of your choice (milk, water, soy or rice milk) makes a tasty treat.
Mango, pineapple, and orange is another nice blend. |
I'll never understand what people see in mango. If there was a fruit kingdom, the noble raspberry would rule on high, and mangos would be the filthy, casteless untouchables, building their homes out of the leavings of other, better fruits and living sad, hopeless existences. In their desparation, many would turn to terrorism. Praising mangos is like praising terrorism.
Which brings me to my point: raspberry + milk + blender = delicious. You can often find them free in the mountains. |
I love mango - I especially like having mango juice or maybe a smoothie with Indian food. Yum, yum. But as far as raspberries go, I'd have to agree with old D.H. in this clip.

Here is a smoothie recipe i make from time to time -
1 banana
1 tomato
1-2 yakurt/drinking yogurt things - ssang cream works too.
1 bottle of the orange-vegetable juice
- it comes out like a really good orange julius.
I get pretty inventive making vegetable smoothies and use yogurt to add some kick to it. |

I all ready clearly described the heirarchy of the fruit kingdom. You can't just change it. That's not how fruit kingdoms work. Also, I don't know who Sergio Mendes is. |

Blueberries are juicier than raspberries, therefore they rule the fruit kingdom!
Apples are pretty awesome as well. They come in so many varieties, with something for everyone.
Mangoes are not among my faves, but I don't hate them
However, you all must be really rich if you are blending really expensive berries into smoothies here in Korea. Six tiny containers of blueberries are packaged into a gift box for about 70,000 won and for me...too rich for my blood! |

That does sound great... i'm not sure about the kiwi though. the seeds always get caught in my throat... almost like an allergic reaction for me, but im not sure if people can have allergic reactions to kiwis. |

You can get them frozen for 25k at Costco or Itaewon. They're farmed, but at least organic. I'd freeze fresh berries anyway, because I use those instead of ice in my vanilla whey smoothies. Yum! |

| School days 2 bananas are breakfast, with one thrown in at the 1030 break to curb the hunger and desire for that tasty but fattenning, oh so delicious white rice. |

Blueberries are definitely up there. At the very least, I'd classify them in the incestuous ruling upper class.

It's only tangentally related to this thread at best, but caramel apple pie especially is incredible.

I also find the berries in Korea to be of lower quality than they are in the United States. I don't feel they're worth the purchase here. If I'm going to splurge on fruit in Korea, I'd rather spend it on Jeju oranges. They're fantastic. |
