So, who has gone and LOVED it? Did you cry when you had to leave? I cried when I had to leave Hong Kong and Singapore. |

No. Phan Thiet. You'll enjoy the town and Mui Ne. |

It was cool to see. A big Vietnamese city without as much tourism. Unfortunately it rained for the few days I was there and I was sick. I would have liked to see more, but nothing really held me. |

My boyfriend and I stayed there, and actually left a day early to go back to HoiAn. Danang was fun city to ride around on a scooter for a day. The beach was pretty, but I found it quite windy compared to Hoi An beach. It's not really a bumping tourist place...so we kind of got bored after one day. If you want my advice...plan to go there one day, ride a scooter go see Marble Mountain, eat on the beach and then move onto somewhere else. I got a way more chill I don't want to leave this place vibe when I was in Hoi An. Plus from Hoi An you can catch a tourist bus for a couple bucks that will take you out to the My Son Cham ruins which are a must see. |

Danang airport seems to be staffed by scuzzy types. Hoi An is the better alternative. |

It didn't float my boat. An afternoon was enough. China Beach is decent enough but there's not much there.
Go to Hoi An, a pretty little village with lots of art and silk tailoring, or Hue, with its antique buildings and fortress, or Nha Trang, for a chill beach town. |

I hate to be a hater, but Hoi An has turned into a tourist ghetto. I really don't see the big deal. |

If there isn't much in Da Nang, that's fine by me...a non-touristy place where all I do is go from the beach to the pool, from the pool to the beach for 14+ days is all I want and need. Two of my former coworkers went and liked it and basically, this is all they did. |
