I'm looking for a transformer / converter for my American XBOX 360. I prefer 500W+, but 200W is acceptable. Please help if you can...I'm going crazy! |

Are you not in a place that has an EMart, Lotte or Homeplus? |

Been there done that. The only place I found a transformer (a heavy duty one, not just a travel adapter) was at HomePlus, but it was the opposite of what I needed (i.e. it's for Korean appliances in the US, which seems retarded because why would anybody need that here). I asked several people at the store and they said that was the only one they had. I also tried E-mart, where the guy called Costco and several other stores for me and couldn't find it. I also tried the computer district in Gaya and the electronics place in Bujeon-dong (I live in Busan).
If anyone knows somewhere in Busan that they've recently seen a 500+W transformer that works with American appliances then by all means, save my life and let me know. |

That is just weird. I've had a few transformers (step down converters) here that I got at Emart or wherever, and they have worked fine with any North American electronic/appliance. Hell for that matter, I'm running several NA things off of one that I bought at Emart with a surge protector from that i brought from back home at this time nearly 5 years ago. |

byrddogs - maybe I just have really bad timing, lol.
Not to worry though. Turns out crheine has just what I need and lives like 15 minutes from me. Serendipity! |
