|
|
I'm all new to this smartphone m'larkey .....
Mostly what I want to know is, if I connect to a local wi-fi signal, like the one from my home wireless router or the wi-fi signal in my school, then, will my phone company (SK) charge me their usual data download rate per MB while I'm using a wi-fi hotspot?
Or do they only charge for my data downloads while connected to their 3G network?
Also, my phone tells me as I'm turning it on that is connecting to a WCDMA network and that I might incur additional charges if I don't have a flat rate contract.......Can I assume that my 65,000 won per month fee to SK is to use WCDMA?
Thanks guys. |

Anything done via wifi is free. You are only charged for data over the 3G. If you have wifi turned on, it has precedence over 3G.
Your 65k per month covers x amount of MBs, over that limit, you will be charged. I have no idea how much though. |
