THe skinny is I'm looking to buy a new TV for our house here, and as reccomended auction or GMarket from a Korean friend, good start, but its full of more crap than ebayUK finding it hard to pinpoint the 'good' deals.

But found this:

http://itempage3.auction.co.kr/DetailView.aspx?ItemNo=A536596478&listqs=class%3dSearch.Search%26keyword%3d32%2522%2520television%26nickname%3d%26frm%3d%26dom%3dauction%26isSuggestion%3dNo%26retry%3d%26x%3d0%26y%3d0%26Fwk%3d32%2522%2520television%26showRemains%3d0%26category%3d29230000%26searchtype%3d1%26tab%3d1%26PremiumCnt%3d6%26sort%3d2%26page%3d0%26listorder%3d62&listtitle=32%22%20television&Fwk=32%22%20television&scoredtype=0&frm2=through&acode=SRP_SV_0301

Looks a good price for that TV, the other sellers are all qouting 600,000 for a 2010 model? I know it says some kind of 'event' is on, but too good to be true?

Just wanted to run this past you peeps here to give it the all clear? Does Auction/GMarket have any Quidco type deals like the UK? Or a better place to shop online?

Cheers!

Looks legit.

Are they ex-demo models or something? I couldn't find a catch on that ad.

Try ordering it. Stand is extra.

if you do order one, keep up posted. for that price, i wouldn't mind throwing one in the office and move my PS3 in there.

Did anyone bother to read it at all? It's a promotional price. You must sign up for SK Broadband or LG Powercom internet (3 year contract) in order to get that price. The normal price of this TV is in the 900,000 range.

try 11st.co.kr - they guarantee to be the cheapest in Korea. You might need a Korean friend to help you though.
